Been saving these ones up, so now I have loads of challenge icons from tw_hush, tw_ichallenge and torchwho_ic. I even managed to win again. This time I somehow managed 1st place at tw_hush in challenge 3 (#11), 2nd in challenge 4 (#12) and 1st in challenge 5 (#28). I got shiny banners! I'm excited about that. Over at torchwho_ic I got best colour in challenge 2 (#32), mod's choice in challenge 3 (#42), 3rd place in challenge 3 (#46) and best colour in challenge 4 (#49). Very very exciting and huge thanks to anyone who has voted for my icons-or even just looked at them. So this batch sort of grew, oh well. Lots of these come from scans of the Torchwood mag, a couple from the Doctor Who mag and Doctor Who Files: Captain Jack. I actually think I'm getting tired of making graphics. Which fucking sucks because I enjoy it; only I get frustrated when I can't make something I really like. I've been finishing my massive batch of wallpapers and a few requests. The challenges I've been doing are good fun, but they only make me do more icons when I can't decide about the look of them. I really fucking need to make myself get back to my Andy/Ianto table, but I'm just so...not creative or in the mood to write. I've decided if I can't start writing the ploty bits, I'm just going to get the smut out and maybe that will help. Perhaps I need to hire someone to force me to write. I get great ideas at random moments and slag them off later. Enough rambling.

Somehow today ended up being cleaning day, computers included. Thus I found a bunch of icons I'd not posted. Some fairly recent, some quite old. Also I decided to clean up my LJ icon posts and put everything into a shiny table; go on have a look-they're nice now. So much better looking and easier than the codes I was using before. But fuck if it didn't take a while!

This was supposed to be a small batch, but since the clean out it's grown. The lot includes icons of dvd art, novel art, promos, magazines, comics (my own), and my entries in the first challenge at tw_hush and tw_ichallenge. Somehow I won 3rd place tw_ichallenge (#29). This is basically a picspam badly disguised in icon form. Most of these are bases I've used in creating Andy icons for my icon table (which is HERE), or will use at some point. I figured I'd go ahead and post all of these since I was asked for various plain and simple Andy icons. So nothing but the man himself; with a few exceptions where Rhys is in the way. I apologize for the bad quality on some of the last ones, as I've yet to cap the extras from my dvds. However, I do not apologize for the two gratuitous arse icons.

All my Andy icons and episode icons and failing to write has really done my head in. I'm hoping to update my Andy table soon. So I thought I'd leave that all alone for a bit and have a go at making PS brushes. I ended up making a Torchwood pack and then I just had to use them. So here's a few results. The whole "Army of Harkness" thing has been a running joke with me since series 1 and I finally decided to make some stuff using the idea. Only problem? I was really stupid and when I made the wallpaper I didn't make it big enough to fit my monitor.

Yeah, so I'm only a bit behind on my icons. I planned to make a batch for each episode as it aired, but no such luck so I think I may just stop with that thought and make better stuff as it comes to me. My computer was being shit and decided that the sound and video would lag so when trying to cap it I couldn't ever get the pic I wanted. Then when I tried to convert the file, it only got worse; until finally my computer decided to just delete the episodes. So that was nice. (It's done this with the next 2 eps also.) I don't think I did too great with these, but after all I went through I wanted to make them anyway. There's a couple older icons tossed in too and a couple from later episodes and pics for good measure.

Well I know a lot of these are boring or just plain crap, so no need to emphasis that point. My creativity just wasn't in the mood. Thus some pretty plain stuff, perhaps a few good ones in the lot. Mostly I just played with colour this time around. Oh yeah, lots of gun!porn. I do hope the trend continues because it is good for me; plus it just totally rocks that you can see Ianto's gun with TORCHWOOD branded on it very clearly.

This probably will be my last batch of icons until the series starts, you know in a couple days! And as soon as I have a copy available for capping I'm sure I'll go nuts with the premiere. I'm mad that I'll have to wait a couple days to see the episode, grr. So after I watch it eleventy billion times I might make time for graphics. Quite a bit of gun!porn in this one, still not enough though. I couldn't make a good Tosh one, so I had to leave her out. Also because I have a cold I seem to have lost my funny bone I can't come up with anything clever to do with the pic of Jack with his tongue sticking out (2). This was the best cap I could get so quality isn't great, but if anyone has any suggestions they want to share feel free. Same goes for the stopwatch one (30).
